Tinubu/Shettima Administration Support Group (TSASG) has appealed to critics to leave Seyi Tinubu alone and allow the President’s son to work with his father to fix Nigeria.
National Coordinator of the group, Hon Felix Akpoyibo made the appeal while reacting to recent criticism about the planned trip of the President to Qatar along with his son, Seyi.
He said it is irritating and irrelevant to be accusing Seyi of being ultra vires for wanting to travel with his father to foreign countries for the purpose of national economic interest and growth.
TSASG described Seyi Tinubu as a young and virile entrepreneur who is versed in modern day economic dynamics, global trade and merchandise with a broad mind in business endeavour and pursuits that could be an added advantage to the cognition and psychological balance of the President in his plight to refix Nigeria.
” When Donald Trump was in office as President of the United States his sons and daughters rallied round him and US citizens did not criticise him but gave him the required support to succeed and that is why they were pained when he lost his reelection and are now clamouring for his return to Make America Great Again .”
The group argued that the problems confronting the Nigeria nation were not caused by President Bola Tinubu or his son Seyi Tinubu, but span over 40 years ago within the fingers of past leaders.
“Rather than continue to blame and criticise President Tinubu, Nigerians should appreciate his efforts towards refixing Nigeria and nothing is wrong if he finds Seyi a ready and capable hand to help him do the job.”
He wondered why over 90 per cent comments on national issues tend to criticise the President without preferring any workable solution to national challenges.
He noted that out of the 200 million Nigerians that populate the country there are also close to 200 million brains with different bright ideas which could be useful solutions to the problems of the country and hence reiterated the call to leave Seyi Tinubu alone and face Nigeria problems that are over 40 years old squarely and objectively.
