In support of the pragmatic approach of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu to tackling the hydra headed socioeconomic challenges of the Nigeria nation, a volunteer group, Tinubu Goodwill Volunteers (TGV) has mapped out activities aimed at complementing the efforts of the president towards a better Nigeria.
The activities scheduled to start in August 2023 and run through the tenure of the President Tinubu administration and beyond, where a second term is secured. The activities include: sanitary clean up of the environment, traffic control, distribution of free school materials and other community services.
All the services will be rendered free of charge to the public by members of the volunteer group in the 36 States including the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), Abuja.
Speaking to a select group of journalists yesterday in Abuja, the National Coordinator of the group, Engr George Ovie Okugbere said membership of the group comprised Nigerians of various professional backgrounds who are committed to the success of the Tinubu administration through volunteer services to the public.
” We are set to render voluntary services to complement the efforts of His Excellency, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu, President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria in his RENEWED HOPE agenda, aimed at redirecting our great nation along the path of greatness and returning Nigeria to her elevated position among the comity of great nations.
” TVG is a platform for patriotic Nigerians worldwide who share in the RENEWED HOPE Agenda of President Bola Tinubu to volunteer their resources to render voluntary services to the society as part of their contribution towards the betterment of Nigeria and the success of President Tinubu’s administration.
” We will kick-off the pre-unveiling activities while preparing for the official unveiling in Abuja to flag-off the group’s activities properly in the days ahead.” Engr George Ovie Okugbere said.
In separate interviews, Secretary of the group, Alhaji Umar Yusuf Musa ( Ubandoman Gindiri), and the Lagos State Supervisor of the group, Mr Adedoyin Adewale Aikore-Somuyiwa assured Nigerians of a ‘better life’ in this dispensation of the administration of President Bola Tinubu.
The secretary particularly urged interested members of the public to join the group via it’s social media handles; Facebook: @tinubucaresforall, Twitter : @tinubucares4all while the Lagos State Supervisor of the group called on Nigerians home and abroad to come on board and contribute their quota of goodwill.
