The embattled Delta State Government suspended chairman of Commercial Motorcycle and Tricycle Operators Delta State ( COMTOA ) Chief Obi Nzete has been challenged to a public debate on allegations levied against him that led to his suspension.

The Delta State Public Relations Officer ( PRO ) of the association, Comrade Glory Ochuko Johnson threw the challenge at a crowded press conference in Warri on Saturday 22nd ,April , 2023 .

Ochuko was reacting to a press conference held in Asaba in opposition to members of board of trustees ‘ s support for the Delta State Government suspension of Chief Obi Nzete.

He stated that the board of trustees were referred to as criminal elements at the said conference held by Chief Obi Nzete and his cohorts.

While affirming the association ‘ s support for Delta State Government suspension of Chief Obi Nzete , Ochuko Johnson itemized the allegations that led to suspension of Chief Obi Nzete as he called on the EFCC to swing into action without any delay.

Ochuko Johnson also stated that it was Chief Obi Nzete and his cohorts that law enforcement agencies should be looking for and not the board of trustees that rightfully backed Delta State Government ‘ s action .

Ochuko Johnson who maintained that there was no faction in the association , accused Chief Obi Nzete of attempting to stay glued to power without clearing himself of the weighty allegations that led to his suspension.

He therefore noted that the press conference held by Chief Obi Nzete and his cohorts was a diversionary measure to blindfold the unsuspecting public on the allegations levied against him.

The Delta State Public Relations Officer of the association stated that Chief Obi Nzete should have been grateful to Governor Ifeanyi Okowa and PDP administration for making him ( Chief Obi Nzete ) what he his but rather allegedly decided to stab Governor Okowa and the PDP in the back during the last Delta State governoship elections
