Igherighe receiving his letter of appointment from the Council Chairman

A new media manager (Chief Press Secretary), Comrade Victor Igherighe has been appointed for the Ethiope – West Local Government Council, Delta State.
The Executive Chairman of the Council, Rt. Hon. Nelson Oghenedoro Owoso on Wednesday, 13 April, 2022 officially made the appointment which he said would no doubt add value to his administration.
Congratulating Igherighe while presenting the appointment letter to him in his office at the Council Secretariat, Oghara, the Chairman advised that he should diligently and effectively discharge his duties; to further forge a cordial relationship between his administration and the people of the locality, as well, help to strengthen and push the policies and programs of his administration for the good of everyone.
Responding, Igherighe thanked the Chairman for having found him worthy of the appointment.
He promised to bring his knowledge and experience as a trained media person to bear on the job so as to positively impact on the Council and people of the locality.
Victor Igherighe holds the Higher National Diploma (HND) in Mass Communication from the Delta State Polytechnic, Ogwashi – Uku.
He completed the compulsory National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) for all Nigerian graduates in 2015.
Igherighe had worked as a news reporter for several newspapers: REVOLUTION TIMES NEWSPAPER, published from Benin-City, Edo State; DELTA VOICE NEWSPAPER, and SPY NEWS all based in Ughelli, Delta State.
In 2020, he was also appointed media director to the Campaign Team of former Chairmanship aspirant: Hon. Festus Emoefe Oseni.
Igherighe, a member of the Nigerian Union of Journalists (NUJ), Sapele Chapel, until this appointment was an accredited Urhobo orator, and English teacher.
