HRM, Wilson Ojakovo 111, Ovie of Ughelli

The Delta State Chairman of Pentecostal Fellowship Of Nigeria (PFN), Bishop Kingsley Enakirerhi has urged the clergy and residents of Ughelli to actively participate in activities marking the 2021 Prayer Day program of His Royal Magesty, Dr Wilson Oharisi 111, the Ovie of Ughelli kingdom.
Bishop Enakirerhi who spoke during an interactive meeting with Senior Clergymen at the Heroes of Faith Ministry headquarters Ughelli, Ughelli North Local Government area of the state, noted that the highest favour and opportunity one could get from a royal father was the call to pray to God for the peace and development of the land, adding that it would be a failure on part of the church if that call was treated with levity.
“If the King had called on all to come together to serve idols what would the church had done?, he queried.
Bishop Enakirerhi enumerated some of the forces having negative impact on the development of the land and the Niger Delta region to include polygamous spirit, witchcraft and marine powers, which he adduced to be the headquarters of the kingdom of Satan.
He commended the Ovie of Ughelli kingdom for the prayer initiative and urged the church to run with the vision, just as he added that people should close all activities, including markets and come out that day to honour God.
Bishop Enakirerhi attributed the peace enjoyed in Ughelli to the yearly prayers programme and lambasted those who deliberately kept themselves away from the prayer, calling them enemies of development and progress.
Reading from Genesis 11:8-9, Bishop Enakirerhi said one of the weapons of Satan was to cause disunity, with the aim to scatter the church and hence, urged christians to be united against the Devil and his agenda.
He told them to see what they were doing as sacrifice, adding that sacrifice was needed for anyone to make meaningful progress in life, just as he attributed his success story to his sacrificial giving and commitment.
Earlier, the chairman of the planning committee, Hon. Revd Benjamin Esemiteye commended churches that have participated in the prayer program and urged them to continue doing what was right, saying that God would reward them accordingly.
Revd Esemiteye said the meeting was to rub minds and chart the way forward for a positive achievement during this year prayer program which is slated for 23rd October, 2021.
