While explaining that it is unfair and ungodly for Delta South Senatorial District to struggle for the governorship position with Delta Central where he hails from, the Urhobo-born lawyer and industrialist asserted that with the internal rotational arrangement in the PDP, it is duly the turn of the Delta Central Senatorial District to produce the next governor of the state, having waited for 16 years by 2023.
“We cannot change the order in the middle of the game, for that would be ungodly and politically inaccurate,” he stated.
The former Minister of State for Education maintained that he is the most qualified of all the governorship aspirants some of whom, he said, were still in school when he started politics.
He then eulogized Governor Ifeanyi Okowa and asked the people to support him if he (Okowa) eventually decides to go for the post of the president or vice president.
