A Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) aspirant for the Uvwie State Constituency of Delta State House of Assembly seat , Chief ( Hon ) Bernard Onobia has stated that Governor Ifeanyi Okowa and the state party learshiip has not endorsed any aspirant in the contest.
He stated this during his consultation visit to the delegates, leaders and elders of the various wards in Uvwie Local Government Area.
Onobia also stated that Governor Okowa and the party leaders have assured that the forthcoming party primaries will be free, fair and credible .
He then advised that delagates should vote wisely ; vote for an aspirant that is grassrooted, accessible and that will be responsible and responsive to their needs.
Onobia stated that he was tested and trusted as a former councilor and community leader ” that is why the whole Enerhen Community is behind me in this contest ” he added .
While promising to positively affect the lives of the people of Uvwie and attract development to the area, he assured that he will introduce employment programs outside politics if given the mandate to serve Uvwie State Constituency at the Delta State House of Assembly in 2023 .
The Enerhen Community born political icon therefore appealed to the delegates to vote for him , saying that they will be happy for doing so .
